Thank you for visiting my website! Each piece is made one at a time with sensitivity to craftsmanship in my Rhode Island Studio. Patchwork quilting is a time-honored craft tradition, my pieces are a culmination of traditional processes and experimentation.
Each piece on this website is available as made to order. Therefore, please allow a period of 8-10 weeks for the production of the piece. Quilts can be made in Twin, Queen, King, or a custom size per customer request. However, it is important to note that each individual quilt was designed for a particular size, therefore the design will be scaled proportionally and may vary from the representative photos. Prices with vary depending on size. Please contact the studio directly for orders.
All the design, fabric dyeing, and patchwork production is done in my Rhode Island studio, and I work with a local artisan who uses a hand-guided long-arm quilting machine to assemble the quilts. I value consistency in my product, but because each piece is hand crafted, the piece you receive will have its own unique color, stitching, and details that will vary slightly from the representative photos.
We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties. When you purchase from our studio, we request your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, email address and credit card information. We ask that you provide this information so that we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.
Material and Care
I use 100% cotton fabric, a poly/cotton blend batting, and poly/cotton blend thread for the quilts. All fabric is pre-washed and all material is chosen to ensure quality and keep shrinkage to a minimum. It is the nature of the material and the quilting process for puckering to occur over time.
The dye process I use varies depending on the color quality of the piece itself, and I use a variety of natural and chemical dyes. Contact me directly if you have inquiries about the dye process of a particular piece.
My quilts are made to be used as wall hangings or bed coverings and will withstand gentle wear and tear, and should be handled with care. Avoid direct sun to maintain color intensity. To remove fold lines or wrinkles, steam with an iron, or spritz with water and allow to dry flat. I would recommend getting the quilt professionally cleaned. In between cleanings, quilts may be vacuumed to remove any surface dirt and dust. Store in an archival quality textile box.
You are responsible for the care of the pieces you purchase and I can not be held liable if damages occur from improper care. Quality is our top priority and if there is a defect other than normal wear and tear we will fix or replace the quilt as we see fit. If you have any questions about your quilt, please feel free to contact us.
